The Donegal Association in Dublin was founded over 85 years ago when Donegal people came together to support those impacted by the Arranmore Disaster in 1935. While many of you are most familiar with the Annual Donegal Person of the Year awards, we celebrate the achievements of many of our fellow county people, including Donegal GAA and Professor William Campbell, and come together to give our support in times of need.
As members of the diaspora closest to the county we feel a particular responsibility towards strengthening the connections of the diaspora worldwide with the county.
We hope that you can be part of the future of the Donegal Association by getting involved, attending our events and supporting our many endeavours.
