Sympathy to the McLoone Family

We, in the Donegal Association, Dublin, are saddened to hear of the death of Michael McLoone, Ballyshannon. Michael will be remembered, among many other things, for his successful career, especially his time as Donegal County Manager and as a footballer who was central to the successes of his club, St Joeseph’s, and Donegal county teams at minor, U21 and senior level in the 1960s. We, in the Donegal Association, are particularly grateful to Michael for his wholehearted support for our activities on behalf of the Donegal Diaspora, especially our Donegal Live events in Dublin and Glasgow. We extend our sympathies to Michael’s wife, Imelda, his sons, Michael, David, Philip and daughter Caroline and the whole McLoone Family. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal.
